In 2010 he completed a 150-hour certification in Wu Dang External Qi Healing with Master Yun Xiang Tseng – a 14th generation Wu Dang Zhang Sanfeng lineage holder and a 25th generation Long Men Taoist Priest. Terry has trained with several of the top facial cosmetic acupuncturists in the U.S. In 2015 Terry became certified in Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture™ and the following year he became certified in Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™. In 2017, he trained with Dr. Ping Zhang in Facial Gua Sha, a non-needle facial technique.
Terry graduated from Casper College in Casper, Wyoming in 1997 with an Associate of Arts in English. His life changed course when 2 years later his mother was diagnosed with fibromylagia. Terry shifted into natural medicine and completed his massage therapy training at the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City in 1999. He went on to help create the first hospital-based massage therapy program in the state of Wyoming. This experience ultimately led him to further his medical skills by pursuing his degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Terry inspires his patients to reconnect with their own innate healing capacity, return to their authentic self, and revive their radiant joy for living. His specialty is cosmetic/facial acupuncture and his advanced training in this field gives him the skills to help his patients “be seen deeper”. He hosts a podcast passionately dedicated to this philosophy called The Get Foxy Show.
Outside of the office, you can find Terry relaxing with his wife and two boys. He avidly reads sci-fi and fantasy novels. He likes to craft his own beer and mead. And occasionally he competes in local beard and mustache competitions.
