New Coconut Oil Product for Eczema!

Unrefined coconut oil is solid at room temperature and smells divine!

Our EczeHerbal 2 Ointment is our most popular eczema ointment…and we just formulated a new companion product that is even easier to apply to larger areas of skin affected by eczema.  Our EczeHerbal 2 Coconut Oil has the same herbs found in our regular EczeHerbal 2 Ointment, but this time we have infused them into unrefined virgin coconut oil.  Because coconut oil is solid at room temperature (or rather, it is solid at temperatures below 76 degrees Fahrenheit), we did not need to add a wax to solidify this version of the ointment.  This actually makes it a more concentrated product.  The lack of beeswax also makes this an ideal product for vegans or for those who have allergies to propolis/beeswax.

Fresh batch of EczeHerbal Coconut Oil will be light green in color once fully cooled to room temperature.

And since the melting temperature of coconut oil is lower than body temperature, as soon as you start applying it to warm skin, it melts…this makes it so convenient to smooth over larger areas of skin.  Coconut oil is a wonderful emollient to soften and protect damaged skin that suffers from eczema.  To lock in as much moisture as possible, apply the EczeHerbal 2 Coconut Oil immediately after showering or bathing.  We have packaged it in a large 4-ounce jar so it lasts you longer.

This coconut oil product is specially formulated for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pattern known as Heat in the Blood with Fire Toxins and Wind. From the perspective of TCM, the herbs in this product Clear Heat, Cool Blood, Dry Damp, Eliminate Wind and Resolve Toxins. This phase of eczema can be seen in in all ages of patients.  This product is safe for use on the face and can also be used for cradle cap in infants.  We love this product for babies and kids (and even for hot spots on dogs!) because it will do no harm if they eat it or lick it off.  Just remember, it is intended for EXTERNAL use only.
